Growbaby, Toddler and Lead Pioneering Worker

18.5 hours a week x 38 weeks – two-year fixed contract
Proposed commencement:  September 2024

At City Life Church we believe we have a mission to live wholeheartedly for God and through this to see His Kingdom come and God-given potential released in ourselves, others in our communities and beyond.  Our vision is for families to experience God’s love and see God’s love in action through every part of our Families Ministry.

The role of Growbaby, Toddler and Lead Pioneer Worker is to be a part of the Growbaby and Toddler Teams, also pioneering family ministry amongst families with under 5yrs in our East and West Worshipping Communities.  This role will bring consistency and continuity in relationship building through our Growbaby project, Toddler groups and pioneering within the East and West communities.  It’s an exciting time to join our Family Ministry team as we are seeing families being blessed, God’s Kingdom advancing and there’s so much potential for more! 

Main responsibilities and duties of the position are:

1. Be a part of the Monday Growbaby Stay and Play team.
2. Be a part of the Toddler Groups Wednesday team.
3. Pioneer our vision for the East and West Worshipping Communities to establish Stay and Play groups in these communities over the coming years.

How:

• By building relationships with families through a ‘welcoming and coming alongside’ role in all groups
• By assisting with the setting up, refreshments and clearing of all sessions
• By developing links to the wider church family, events and ministries
• Pioneering through connecting with East and West Worshipping Communities

There is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a committed Christian.  You are representing City Life Church within the role, and you will be expected to communicate the Christian values of the Church.

SWYM Youth trainee

Our Vision for Youth, and Children at City Life Church is that every young person and child has the possibility to hear, respond and personally experience and grow in the Gospel. It is our desire that City Life Church provides an environment for young people and children to be nurtured in their spirituality, to grow through personal faith and be released into their God-given potential.

This SWYM Trainee role is predominantly Youth focused. On occasions, there will be involvement in Children’s and Families Ministry.
